Nuxe Reve de Miel range is aimed mainly at dry and sensitive skin types but many of the products in the collection e.g. face cleanser, body cream, hand cream and a lip balm would suit just about anyone looking for a gentle and nourishing skin care. The main active ingredient in all the products is honey and you can really tell by the smell I’ve tried three different products so far:
- Nuxe Reve de Miel Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removal Gel – Very effective in removing last traces of makeup and all impurities. Leaves the skin feeling clean, soft and cared for. It’s not greasy and gentle enough not to dry out the skin. I found it worked very well on my combination skin, removing unwanted oil from my t-zone but not drying out my cheeks This stuff smells lovely, it’s easy to rinse out and pleasant to use. The added bonus is that is contains 94.9% ingredients of natural origin. No nasties inc. parabens. A 200ml bottle retails for £12 and should last you a least a month of a daily use.
- Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra Comfortable Face Cream – this is quite a rich cream that replenishes, soothes and protects the skin with sunflower ceramides, precious plant oils, argan oil, shea butter, vitamin E and honey. Dry skin will love it! For my skin it was a bit too much and I always ended up very shiny. Nevertheless, I found it great as an emergency treatment when my cheeks were getting to dry or irritated. 50ml glass jar retails for £22.50.
- Nuxe Reve de Miel Honey Lip Balm – this is a cult lip product and Nuxe’s bestseller It’s an intensive treatment that soothes and repairs dry, damaged and chapped lips. It contains honey, ultra soothing plant oils, nourishing shea butter and soothing grapefruit essence. It has a tick, slightly waxy consistency and adheres to the lips like nothing else I’ve tried. I put it on before sleep and it’s still there after I wake up Very effective, keeps your lips soft and smells lovely too. A 15g jar retails for £9.50. Well worth the price as it lasts ages.
